A Flexible Below-Grade Parking Solution for Driveways, Courtyards, and Outdoor Residential Applications

Harding Autopark Systems’ Parklift 461 and 462 are pit-mounted, dependent-platform parking lifts designed to double parking capacity in outdoor and semi-outdoor settings—driveways, courtyards, and residential retrofits—without requiring a fully enclosed garage structure. The lower vehicle parks below grade in an open pit, while the upper platform sits at or near finished floor level, keeping the installation visually unobtrusive.

Manufactured in Germany by WÖHR, both models use free-standing, self-supporting steel frames and are engineered per DIN 1991-1-3 for Snow Load Zone II and wind force 8 impact loads, making them well suited to a wide range of climates and exposure conditions. The Parklift 461 is designed for shallower pit applications, while the Parklift 462 accommodates deeper installations—giving architects and homeowners flexibility based on site conditions and excavation constraints.

Key Features & Specifications

Single-unit configurations store 1–2 vehicles; double-unit configurations store 2–4, with row arrangements available for larger installations. Under specified conditions, the top platform can itself be finished and used as a drivable parking surface—supporting stone, gravel, or lawn-grid infill—effectively blending the lift into the surrounding landscape. Vehicle access is via a two-stage hydraulic lift system, with wall-mounted or stand-mounted operating controls and full EMERGENCY STOP and key-interlock safety features.

Designed for single-family homes, townhome developments, and small multifamily retrofits, the Parklift 461/462 offers a practical way to add usable parking to properties where excavation for a full underground garage isn’t feasible.
