Harding Autopark Systems’ hydraulic Parklift is the most widely used product in the American parking lift industry, building on the legacy of the original Harding Steel SUV-LIFT. Designed to meet modern parking demands, the Parklift delivers a reliable, space-efficient solution for a wide range of vehicle types—including SUVs, crossovers, sedans, and luxury vehicles.
This two-level system is engineered for dependent parking, allowing one vehicle to be stored above another to effectively double parking capacity within the same footprint.
Manufactured in Germany by WÖHR, the Parklift is built to the highest standards of engineering, safety, and durability. Its galvanized steel construction and corrosion-resistant design make it well suited for both indoor and outdoor installations, including challenging environments with humidity, rain, and coastal exposure.
The system is highly adaptable, with configurations available for drive-through and tandem layouts, as well as multiple height and width options to accommodate different vehicle profiles and building constraints. Typical installations can operate in ceiling heights starting around 10’6″, with greater clearances allowing for larger vehicles and improved long-term flexibility.
Designed with developers, architects, engineers, automotive dealers, and parking operators in mind, the Parklift offers a practical balance of performance, reliability, and efficient land use—making it the preferred choice for projects seeking to maximize parking without increasing footprint.
Do I have to move the bottom car to get the top car down?
Yes. The 411 is a dependent stacker, so the lower car has to be moved out before the upper platform can come down. That’s why it works best when one household or tenant uses both spaces.
What ceiling height do I need, and will an SUV fit?
The 411 works with ceilings as low as 10’6″. We recommend 12’6″ or more so taller vehicles will fit down the road. The lower level takes vehicles up to 80″ tall, so most SUVs fit.
Can residents run it on their own?
Yes, when both spaces belong to the same person or unit. When the two spaces belong to different users, such as hotel guests or public parking, an attendant should operate it.
