For projects requiring a large number of parking spaces, multi-level automated parking systems offer the most efficient and scalable solution. Harding Autopark Systems delivers advanced stacked parking solutions like the WÖHR Multiparker—engineered to maximize capacity by storing vehicles both vertically and horizontally within a compact footprint.
These fully automated parking systems utilize intelligent storage and retrieval units or shuttle systems to move vehicles along multiple axes. By eliminating ramps, drive aisles, and internal traffic, Multiparker systems significantly increase parking density while reducing overall building volume and operational complexity.
Designed for flexibility, Multiparker systems can be configured as tower or pit installations and scaled to accommodate anywhere from 10 to over 100 vehicles. Multiple row arrangements and modular layouts allow each system to be customized to meet specific site constraints, project goals, and capacity requirements.
Vehicles are stored securely within a structured grid, protected from theft, vandalism, and damage. At the same time, automated operation improves user convenience—drivers simply leave their vehicle in a transfer area, and the system handles parking and retrieval quickly and efficiently.
Multiparker systems are ideal for high-demand environments such as multi-family developments, commercial buildings, airports, hospitals, and public parking facilities. Their ability to deliver high throughput and fast access times makes them especially effective for projects with heavy traffic and limited space.
By optimizing land use and reducing the need for lighting and ventilation, these multi-level parking systems also support sustainable “green parking” design strategies—helping developers reduce costs while maximizing return on space.
What happens if the system goes down?
The systems have redundancy features, so if there is an issue with one lift, you have another operational lift in most cases. These systems run at over a 99% up time. Maintenance plans include scheduled inspections to minimize downtime. In the rare case a system goes down, we have local technicians near all of our installations.
How long does retrieval take?
Average retrieval time depends on the design. Early engagement is crucial when it comes to fully automated systems. Our team will review traffic studies and meet with your team during the design process to maximize retrieval times based on project type and peak demand.
What does maintenance cost?
Maintenance costs depend on system type, quantity, location, among other factors. We will discuss your options based on your project and system details.
