The Harding Autopark Systems Parklift 421 is a high-efficiency, three-level mechanical parking system designed to maximize parking capacity within a compact footprint. Engineered for dependent parking, the system allows three vehicles to be stacked vertically—two on platforms and one at grade—tripling parking capacity in the space of a single stall.
Building on the legacy of the original Harding Steel SUV-LIFT, the Parklift 421 delivers a modern, space-saving solution capable of accommodating a wide range of vehicles, including SUVs, crossovers, sedans, and specialty vehicles.
Manufactured in Germany by WÖHR, the Parklift 421 is designed to meet rigorous engineering and safety standards, including compliance with the EC Machinery Directive and EN 14010. Its hydraulic lifting system, combined with mechanical locking at each level, ensures reliable, secure operation in daily use.
The system features a dual-platform design supported by hydraulic cylinders and synchronized through a torsion bar system, providing smooth and balanced lifting performance. User operation is controlled through a hold-to-run system with key-lock access and integrated emergency stop functionality for added safety.
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations, the Parklift 421 can be configured for a variety of layouts, including drive-through and tandem applications. Its modular design allows multiple systems to operate from a shared hydraulic power unit, making it an efficient solution for larger parking installations.
Designed with developers, architects, engineers, automotive dealers, and parking operators in mind, the Parklift 421 offers a practical, high-density parking solution that optimizes space while maintaining ease of use and long-term reliability.
How is the 421 different from the 411?
Both install right on the existing slab with no pit. The 411 gives you two spaces in one footprint. The 421 stacks a third level on top, so you get three cars in the space of one.
Does the 421 need any special construction?
No excavation. It anchors to a standard concrete floor, so it works well for retrofits and outdoor lots. The 421 needs at least about 16’5″ of clear height, and up to about 19’4″ if you want room for taller vehicles. On post-tensioned decks, the GC installs cast-in-place embeds before we install.
Who is the 421 best suited for?
It’s a dependent system, so it’s a great fit for valet, dealerships, car sharing, rental fleets, and car storage, where an attendant manages the cars.
