The WÖHR Combilift 542 is the two-level entry point into the Combilift puzzle parking family. Each grid stacks one vehicle at entrance level above a second vehicle in a shallow pit, while preserving fully independent access to every space. One space in the entrance row is always left empty; platforms shift sideways into that space so any lower platform can be raised to grade on demand.
Manufactured in Germany by WÖHR, the 542 is built for permanent, long-term use — condominium buildings, office buildings, and mixed-use developments where spaces are assigned to residents or permittees.
Harding Autopark Systems supplies and installs the Combilift 542 for projects that can accommodate a pit but not the depth or floor-to-floor height required for a three-level system. Arrangements are modular, beginning at two grids for three vehicles and three grids for five vehicles, and scale from there to match the bay layout of the garage.
Compared to a conventional parking deck, a two-level puzzle system nearly doubles the vehicles served by the same slab area without adding a ramp, a level, or a valet operation.
Harding Autopark Systems has deployed Combilift systems nationwide, making it one of our most in-demand solutions for multi-family housing, mixed-use developments, and urban infill projects. Each system is modular and fully configurable, allowing it to be tailored to the specific layout, capacity, and design requirements of your project.
Compared to traditional parking garages, puzzle parking systems significantly reduce the footprint required for parking by stacking and shifting vehicles both vertically and horizontally. The result is a more efficient use of space, improved user convenience, and reduced operational costs.
How long does retrieval take, and what about the morning rush?
A typical retrieval depends on the position of the vehicle. Cars at ground level only need the gate to open for access. Only one platform position is empty per level, so the system shifts cars sideways to open a path. For busy buildings we plan the layout and number of units around your peak demand.
Can it handle EVs, and is charging available?
Yes. Combilifts fit the EVs that fit a standard stall, and EV charging on the platforms is available.
How many spaces can I gain?
Most projects roughly double or triple the parking in the same footprint, and the systems fit within a standard 18′ stall depth. We’ll run a layout for your site to show the exact count.
