Semi-Automated Combilift Parking at HigueraWöhr Combilift 543MR puzzle lift, 64 spaces, mixed-use development in downtown San Luis Obispo
Higuera is a mixed-use development in downtown San Luis Obispo, combining approximately 24 residential units over ground-level retail with a publicly accessible rooftop terrace and restaurant. The building’s brick warehouse-inspired architecture pairs historic massing with modern construction, anchoring an infill “campus” of new buildings at the south end of downtown. To deliver below-grade parking on a tight downtown lot, we installed the Wöhr Combilift 543 in a multirow configuration, an independent-access, pit-based system that allows each vehicle to be retrieved without needing other cars to move. The installation provides 64 parking spaces.
